Missions
There are 66 books in the Bible, written by 40 authors inspired by the Holy Spirit, over
1600 years, and the unifying theme… is God’s mission of restoring the world to his
original design through Jesus Christ. The world we live in now today is not what God
intended. At Trinity, we are compelled to follow the heart of Christ, to go and make
disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Christ commanded.
(Mathew 28:19-20)

The world is changing and today missions is no longer geographically focused. Today
missions is from everywhere to everywhere. It is abroad and it is here at home. Our
strategic priority is to emphasize people who do not have access to the gospel, often
called unreached people groups. These people are found all over the world including in
our backyard as migrants and refugees come to Canada. A great place to learn about
these people and where they can be found is at the Joshua Project.
